ARIZONA — Arizona Governor, Katie Hobb’s press secretary has resigned after posting a tweet advocating for violence against ‘transphobes.’ Josselyn Berry received major backlash online with some calling the tweet “tone deaf” and “insensitive.” SEE BERRY’S TWEET BELOW.

This was posted just hours after the deadly, Nashville shooting when a transgender suspect entered a Christian School and opened fire killing six, including 3 children. Governor Hobbs has accepted Berry’s resignation and said this in a statement:

"The governor does not condone violence in any form," a statement from Hobbs' office reads. "This administration holds mutual respect at the forefront of how we engage with one another. The post by the press secretary is not reflective of the values of the administration."
