EXCLUSIVE: Oregon school, known for being in a more conservative region of the state, teaches students ‘transgender health’

SANDY, OR — A mother, who wished to remain anonymous, of a Sandy High School sophomore is furious after learning her daughter was being taught ‘transgender health’ without her being notified.
“I was not told ahead of time, there was not release form for me to sign. They are slipping it in like it’s just normal and brainwashing out kids,” the mother said. “I’m afraid to go to the school and be labeled cray or domestic terrorist.”
Sandy High School is part of the Oregon Trail School District and is about 40 miles outside of Portland. The area is known for being more conservative leaning which is why the mother was surprised and wasn’t given an option to opt her daughter out of the teaching. “The area more conservative leaning and more “country” so this really caught me off guard,” she said.
The current mayor of Sandy, Oregon is Stan Pulliam a conservative Republican who ran for governor of Oregon in 2022.
